As we have spent the last week in Germany and my WiFi connection options were very limited, I am late in writing this particular blog post and it will be abbreviated. We spent the week before leaving for Germany preparing for the journey doing banking, getting money to our daughters that we we want all the children to receive, getting meds for the trip, meeting with doctors, Tom having a bone scan and attending the Temple. Tom had been struggling with vertigo and we were praying that it would settle down for the trip as it makes him nauseous and takes a lot out of him. I hemmed Jack’s white pants for his mission and Tom’s new temple pants. We had to rethread the serger which is a challenging task and Tom managed to get that in order for me. We are trying hard to do a little outdoor walking each day to keep ourselves mobile. Heather called, Joanne called and others keep checking in on us and our well being. Toese brought us a meal. Jack continues to do his home MTC and seems to be enjoying it. We love to hear from our children and grandchildren and keep abreast of their doings. Covid restrictions and our own personal restrictions keep us from more immediate contact with them and it is hard on us. We pray for the completion of the world’s pandemic trial as we need to come together again without constant fear of virus transmission. We are grateful to Chris and Minna for bringing us more nasal spray and capsules for nasal rinses in an effort to keep us healthy on our trip into the current virus riddled world. The journey looked a little daunting at this point for numerous reasons and we were praying for sustaining heavenly help from both sides of the veil.
